Wine is shipped UPS ground unless otherwise specified. Wine would be delivered to the east coast in 7 days from Woodinville. Ground shipments out of Woodinville travel by train through the upper states of the U.S. Next Day Air, 2nd and 3rd day air are other options.
Wine is a perishable commodity and is not insurable.
Pony uses appropriate containers for your shipping needs. Fiber containers are the usual containers for shipping wine. Consumers actually recommend them in South Carolina. In some situations, we use Styrofoam containers and pack each bottle tightly within it. To ensure the wine is not subject to the weather conditions outside, it can be put inside of another box to combat the elements.
41 states allow Pony to ship wine, if the sender has tasted the wine in the tasting rooms.

Wine shipments require an adult over 21 years of age to sign for receipt. The wine shipper may route the wine to a business address, thus ensuring someone will be available on the first attempt for an adult signature. Commercial addresses are also cheaper than residential shipments.
Pony can hold the wine at the store until the receiver has returned home, or when the weather is more suitable for the shipment. We will also adjust the shipment to accommodate holidays, weekends and other scheduling concerns to ensure your shipment arrives on the day you choose.
The phone number as well as the complete address of the receiver are required. The receiver’s email is also helpful to provide them with the tracking number after the shipment is sent.
